How to: create/edit a reusable block and add it to a page

1. Login to the Avanti website admin through https://www.avantifinance.co.nz/gd_dashboard

2. If you want to create a reusable block, from the Dashboard you can hover over 'Site Elements' in the admin menu and click on 'Reusable Block':

3. Navigate to the page you would like to add the Reusable block to (you can do this by clicking on 'Pages' in the admin nav)

4. Select 'Edit Page' or 'Edit Post' from the Admin nav at the top of the screen (in the black bar)

5. Once you are editing a page, make sure you are in 'Backend Editor' mode:

6. Click the '+' icon to add a new block to the page:

7. Select 'Reusable Block' from the 'Add Element' library:

8. 'Reusable Block Settings' will automatically pop up. Choose your preferred reusable block from the list. In this case, I am adding our standard disclaimer text, so I will select that. Note: Only reusable blocks that have already been created show in this list. If you need to create or edit a reusable block, go back to Step 2:

9. Check, Preview and Update (aka Save):

10. Always do a final check of the live page to make sure what you've changed looks how you'd expect it to:
