Cumulo9: Send an email process

IT IS WORST PRACTICE TO SEND OUT AN EMAIL ON 5PM ON A FRIDAY. UNLESS IT IS EXTREMELY TIME SENSITIVE. REPEAT: WE DO NOT SEND EMAILS OUT AT 5PM ON A FRIDAY. 

Check these things before you hit send (do you have the following information filled out and correct):

• Check Data is pulling through properly
• Click all the links and check if they go to where you want them to go
• Who's the email from? 
• What's the reply to email? 
• What's the subject line? 
• Is it an invitation to an event? (time-sensitive, require a deadline) 
• Get someone to read the email that has not been apart of the process 
• Make sure the proper people that need to sign it off do sign it off – in writing 
• Once the content is signed off, make sure any product-specific content is signed off by the relevant product team in writing 
• Get someone who hasn't looked at the email yet to check the subject line 
• Check that the "From" field includes "Avanti Finance" e.g. "Kimmie Loeffen, Avanti Finance" 
• Check that the Reply-To field is correct and the people who own the Reply-To email address have been informed, are ready and have been sent a test email 
• If the email is important, take note of the suppressed/unsubbed and the bounced and send them the eDM personally 
• If it is an emergency and we're sure we're not going to get a near 100% read rate, send a follow-up sms via mtxt
